How to connect to the Congress on-line and instructions for presenters

Congress opening event, 4 keynote lectures and closing event (included prof. Mirksy award) will be broadcasted on line for free on the Congress webpage: and on the ISHM Congress Facebook account.

All other events:

  • Inaugural Joint Session of the ISHM and IAHN
  • Scientific Session 1-8
  • Panels
  • Poster Sessions
  • General assembly
  • Pre-symposium “Bridging the Baltic”
  • Satellite symposium “Anatomy & Beyond”

will be broadcasted in ZOOM only for registered and paid (on-site or online) delegates. Until 21 August 2021 following ZOOM links are sent to the emails provided during the registration:

  • Link nr.1    for Inaugural Joint Session of the ISHM and IAHN, Scientific session 1-8, Panels and General assembly
  • Link nr.2     for Poster Sessions
  • Link nr.3     for Pre-symposium “Bridging the Baltic”
  • Link nr.4     for Satellite symposium “Anatomy & Beyond”

Please check your e-mails box (including spam folder) to be sure that you have received above mentioned 4 links for connecting to the ZOOM. In case you have not received, please contact ishm2020atgmail[pnkts]com until 23 August.

Zoom software

Session moderators, assistants and presenters MUST use the Zoom program! We suggest to use the app instead of connecting to Zoom from the browser.
When you open Zoom for the first time, make sure Zoom updates are installed. How to update Zoom: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362233-Upgrade-update-to-the-latest-version

Preparing the presentation

Format: your presentation should be prepared in .pptx (Power point) format.
Presenting author should share the presentation from his/her own desktop. As option B (and this will be used only in case of serious technical problems) you may send your presentation in advance to: ishm2020atgmail[pnkts]com Presentation should be sent until 23 August.

Before Presenting

Check the link and join the session at least 15 minutes before. Due to the tight schedule, we encourage all the presenters to test everything before going live.

Make sure that:

  • you can be heard;
  • you can see and you can be seen;
  • you have the ability and know how to share and stop share your screen.
  • you are using your real name and surname


All sessions will be recorded and available for later watching (one month after the Congress) to you. If you have any questions, you need to speak to the moderator or assistant before the session.

Time allocated for your presentation

We strongly advise you to check the time and date for your session and also duration of your presentation shortly before the Congress. By presenting your work, you agree to having it published on the 47-th ISHM Congress virtual platform and freely accessible to all participants. Please note that your presentation will be accessible from the virtual platform during and one month after the congress to all participants of the Virtual Congress.
